If we are one with Christ in the Mass in the living memorial of the Sacrifice of the Cross, we are one with Christ in His Eternal self-offering in the inner life of the Blessed Trinity. That is why the Holy Eucharist is a pledge of future glory as well as a sacrifice for sin. To belong to Christ and to receive Him in Holy Communion is a foretaste of the union and communion that we can enjoy for all Eternity if we remains faithful.

We should trust in God's love from one day to the next. There are people who are not content to walk the safe, narrow way marked out by Jesus Christ for all who would follow Him to Heaven. Some people insist on making extraordinary efforts to try to see the way ahead, or foretell the future, or to find a different path to Heaven - as if trying to climb a ladder, to reach above the cloud which represents the limitations of our human existence and knowledge.

Christ spoke to me about the devout remembrance of His Passion which has been made by so many of His followers during the past two thousand years. He said, about the 'Stations of the Cross' which I had just prayed, "You comfort my heart by your devotion". From the Cross, He could see and hear His friends of future ages comforting Him, including ourselves today.

No mother should fear for the future of her departed baby. God the Father loves every person He has created, including the very tiny and innocent infants who die unbaptised because they died through abortion, or miscarriage, or after birth but before Baptism could be administered - or when it was denied them by unbelieving parents. He cannot allow the innocent to suffer after death, for He is just; and so in some way they live eternally in His loving care: as if having fallen at death into a comfortable nursery cot.

We should pray for people without faith. People who don't love God or keep the Commandments are as if floating along on the great river of life, mostly unconcerned about the future, but likely to be carried as if over a great waterfall to disaster, when they die, unless they seek help from Heaven. They cannot save themselves by mere will-power, or good works alone.

They will offer your Sacrifice through all the ages, until you come back to Your People on earth.
