Westminster Cathedral Exhibition

During Holy Week 1993 an exhibition of a series of 20 oil paintings by Elizabeth Wang was displayed in St Joseph's Chapel, Westminster Cathedral, London. Photos of the exhibition are on the right. This series of paintings is called 'The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass'. Most of them were painted during 1988 and 1989, and were the first of the ‘prayer’ paintings to be painted as large oils. They were also exhibited in the Bar Convent, York, in Autumn 1993.To view these 20 pictures in the online Gallery, click this link:
