Prayer Corner
Enjoy a moment's peace and rest with today's painting about prayer, and today’s prayer intentions. If you would like to pray but are not sure how to start, why not try the following: pray the 'Our Father' (the words are below), trying to mean each phrase sincerely, and ask God in your own words to help and to guide you. (If you would like to read more about how to pray, click on 'How to Pray: Preparation' or 'How to Pray: Basics'):
A SMALL PRAYER IS GIGANTIC.
Even a small prayer, offered in the name of Christ, is powerfully effective, whether or not we see how it is answered.

TODAY’S PRAYER INTENTIONS.
Please pray:
- for prisoners, their families, and all those who work for the care of prisoners.
- for a greater love for Christ’s Presence in the Blessed Sacrament and the Holy Mass.
- for the work and mission of Radiant Light.
A Prayer to God the Father:
Our Father
Our Father, who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come.
Thy will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us;
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
Amen.
A prayer asking Mary, the Mother of Jesus, to pray for us:
Hail Mary
Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
A prayer to God, the Holy Trinity:
Glory Be
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.
This ‘Prayer Corner’ is under construction, and more will be added in the coming months.
